                                                                  Jeff Stigen      The Yoga Teacher

Yoga has changed my life. It quiets my mind and helps me slow down. It helps me to reflect and be aware of what comes out of my mouth. In other words, yoga has given me mental and emotional balance.

Yoga has been transformative for me physically and emotionally and I want it to be transformative for you!

My journey with yoga began when my husband suggested I try a yoga class at our local gym. During that first class  I was all over the board. I was sweating profusely and shaky as any beginner. But, I loved it; yoga made me feel like I could actually be part of something - and I knew instantly that this was something I would enjoy for the rest of my life.

So, I started going to a classes, and I realized that I was not only physically changing, but something was changing inside of me as well.  I was more sociable, joyful and lighter. I also liked the feeling that I was challenging myself and achieving something. As I began to feel the transformation yoga had in my life, I felt inspired to share the gift of yoga with others, so I left the medical field, received my yoga certification and opened up my studio.

What might yoga give you? Here are some of the benefits:

  • Physical fitness and strength

  • Flexibility

  • A sense of wholeness

  • Feeling centered

  • Peacefulness

  • Feelings of love and bliss

  • A sense of freedom

  • The ability to be less judgmental

  • Compassion

I want my students to find more than just the physical beauty associated with yoga. I want them to find their true selves!

I offer private yoga classes that are tailored specifically to you. Each pose and each sequence is designed for your individual needs and your specific level, whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced student. I pay close attention to your alignment and your breathing to make sure you are getting the most out of your practice.  My No. 1 priority is your safety and making sure, you do not injure yourself.

Because my classes are mostly private I aim to reach  yogis looking to deepen their practice and those who might not feel comfortable in a conventional yoga class; older people; people with chronic illnesses/fatigue; those with anxiety/depression and those in recovery. My job is to provide a healing presence in a healing space, and help you grow in your yoga practice!
